By now, everyone is aware that the FDA has given emergency clearance for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. This notice can be view here.
Here is what you need to know…
This vaccine distribution will take time to arrive to the general population. At this time, At Home Medical, has not been given all of the details for distribution to medical providers to administer to their patient population. Once this information has been released to physician practices, At Home Medical will put together the most efficient plan we can to ensure that all of our patient population, who would benefit without extreme risk and who wishes to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, will receive one. The earliest we anticipate the vaccine to be available will be Spring. 2021.
As we go through these next few months, prior to vaccination, it is important that you will continue to follow proper precautions to prevent exposure to those that may be carrying COVID-19. Report any signs of illness, of any kind to our office. The sooner we, as medical providers, are made aware of illness, the better outcomes we can achieve with early intervention.
